Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital resources, training materials, and related services offered by pressqizo through its website. These include structured courses on interview planning, media briefings, studio setup, camera placement, lighting techniques, and organised communication workflows. The policy governs transactions for both one-time access and subscription-based content. It covers UK residents and customers purchasing from within the United Kingdom, ensuring compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). They are inclusive of value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for premium features such as extended access periods or personalised feedback sessions. Any such extras are clearly indicated before checkout. Currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider are your responsibility and are not included in the displayed price.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as secure payment gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Payment authorisation occurs at the time of order placement. All transactions are processed through encrypted channels to protect your financial details. pressqizo does not store card information on its servers. If a payment fails, you will be notified immediately and given the opportunity to retry with an alternative method.

Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

A contract is formed when you receive a confirmation email after successful payment. This email summarises the purchased resource, access instructions, and applicable terms. Until this confirmation is issued, no contract exists and no payment is taken. For subscription services, renewal constitutes a new contract each period unless cancelled in advance.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under UK law you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being formed without giving a reason. For digital content, this right is lost once download or streaming begins if you have expressly consented to immediate access. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via the contact form on our Contacts page or by emailing [email protected]. The 14-day period begins on the date of the confirmation email.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available for unused digital resources within the cancellation period. Once access has commenced or materials have been downloaded, refunds are not provided except where required by law. Promotional offers, gift subscriptions, and customised workflow templates are non-refundable. Services involving live studio consultations are subject to separate terms and are generally non-refundable after the session date has passed.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] or use the contact form on the Contacts page. Include your order number, full name, and a clear statement of the reason for the request. You must provide proof of purchase. Requests received outside the 14-day window will be assessed on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision

Upon receipt of a valid request, pressqizo will inspect the details within five working days. You will receive written confirmation of approval or rejection via email. If approved, the refund will be processed; if rejected, reasons will be explained together with any options for appeal under consumer law.

Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing typically takes between five and ten working days, although bank processing times may extend this to a maximum of 14 days. You will be notified once the refund has been issued. No cash refunds are provided.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant

Digital content is supplied immediately upon payment and therefore the 14-day cancellation right is waived once access begins. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least seven days before the renewal date. Promotional bundles are subject to the same rules as standard purchases once the promotional period ends. Live services such as workflow training sessions cannot be rescheduled without at least 48 hours' notice.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud

In the event of a failed payment, access is suspended until the issue is resolved. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded promptly upon verification. Chargebacks are treated as a serious matter and may result in account suspension. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities in line with UK legislation.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to goods and services of satisfactory quality. UK consumers retain the right to seek redress through the courts or alternative dispute resolution schemes. pressqizo complies with the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations where personal data is processed in connection with payments.
